My awesome sister-in-law sent me this article because (I suspect) she feels that I’m selling myself short in the field of Human Resources.
My new job?
- Eater of chocolate.
- Senior Chocolate Ingester.
- Director of Chocolate, HR Division.
I’m still working on the title, yo.
LONDON, England (CNN) — Scientists in the UK are seeking 150 women to eat chocolate every day for a year in the cause of medical research. The trial, at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, eastern England, will test whether a natural compound found in cocoa, the main ingredient of chocolate, could cut the risk of heart disease among women with diabetes.
Participants, who must be postmenopausal women under the age of 70, will have their risk of heart disease tested on five occasions during the year to see whether change occurs.
Wait… I can fake being post menopausal, can’t I?!

I just hope they’re using Swiss chocolate. Otherwise I would consider this experiment cruel and degrading
By the way, did you know that the Swiss ate an average of 12.3 kilograms of chocolate in 2007?
Etienne, Mexican chocolate is pretty good. I would eat that, too. PS - How much is a kilogram in pounds? I’m American and bad at math!!
It’s about 27 pounds.
Btw, did you know that you can just enter this as a Google search:
12.3 kilograms in pounds
Oh boy, I love the internet. I had no idea you could do that!
Here’s even more stuff you can do with Google Search.
