Readers, I need a job.
Now, I know what some of you might say, “You’re in HR. Figure it out”.
Fact is, I live in the Portland, Oregon area and apparently HR pros like me are a dime a dozen right now.
I’m a pretty good researcher when it comes to finding available jobs out there. Mainly what I need are contacts of & introductions to hiring managers, corporate recruiters and not-yet-posted jobs that may be “on the horizon” at GREAT companies.
So here is my profile. I’m putting it out there. I’m hoping the universe will be kind.

Wenchie, if you wanted to come to seattle, I could hook you up with a property management job. That’s the best I can do. It’s kind of like HR, but instead of being a great help to many overworked and tired employees, you get to hear the greatest gossip on the planet AND you get to try to talk people in to paying 2K a month for a 908sq. ft. apartment. Sound like fun?

Heather - Thanks for the thought. Unfortunately, I am deeply rooted in the Portland area. It’s home, what can I say? I’d probably only get about $3.75 for my house in this market anyways!
Does the Portland area have a local SHRM chapter? This would be a good place to look as well.
