The Apocolypse, HR, and Bucky Covington

by Laurie on July 25, 2008

Dudes, I’m in the middle of something bigger than myself. It’s the end of the world as I know it because I started a Bucky Covington shit-storm.

That’s great
It starts with an earthquake
Birds and snakes and emails
Bucky Covington is not afraid

I’m in a mood for REM — especially because I’ve been deleting anti-Laurie, pro-Bucky comments on my blog (and banning IP addresses) for the past 24 hours. I’ve let a few comments slide into the original post, just for fun, but most of them call me a talentless hack and suggest that I’m an ugly whore. I do like this comment, though:

“Oh Christ, Bucky Covington has a better career than I do.”

I didn’t even know Bucky Covington had fans….Now if you were messing with Kelly Pickler then we would have a problem.

Dudz, thanks for your support. I am not happy about 99% of the comments coming into my inbox, but I’m happy that I’ve reached another demographic: Bucky F**kers.

i’m not at all a country music fan, despite living most of my life in good ol’ kentucky… so, bucky is definitely not on my top-music list. that being said, there are plenty of people out there who love country music, but i just don’t get it.

bummer that you’re getting so much flak for expressing your opinion. God forbid!

Bucky Covington is a talented country singer with three Top Ten singles off of his very first album. The picture you reference above was taken during a private concert for the employees of WalMart when Bucky had a CD signing booth event when his album was released. Country music is great and so is Bucky.
