I’m in a mood for REM — especially because I’ve been deleting anti-Laurie, pro-Bucky comments on my blog (and banning IP addresses) for the past 24 hours. I’ve let a few comments slide into the original post, just for fun, but most of them call me a talentless hack and suggest that I’m an ugly whore. I do like this comment, though:

I’d like to make amends with the Bucky crowd by asking Mr. Covington to play my office breakroom, company picnic, or corporate cafeteria when I have my next job. I’ll supply the Flavia coffee, microwave popcorn, and bad fluorescent lighting. As you can see by the picture below, it’s a requirement that Bucky only plays corporate lunch rooms with drop-in ceilings.

i’m not at all a country music fan, despite living most of my life in good ol’ kentucky… so, bucky is definitely not on my top-music list. that being said, there are plenty of people out there who love country music, but i just don’t get it.
