I know the economy is in the toilet & you are afraid of losing your job; however, I will fire you if you give me the MRSA or the SARS.

amen! i hate it when i catch the latest annoying virus because someone had ‘good work ethic’… i don’t consider it good work ethic if you infect your whole office and then they all have to stay home.

get yourself healthy, then come back to work… if you get someone sick, you should have reduced pay till they get better… ok, maybe not that harsh, but come on!
that being said, i’m about to lose my part-time job… not due to illness, but due to not enough work volume… so even if i come in to work sick, i won’t get to keep my job. maybe i ought to, just for revenge>? ok, maybe not!
i was thinking about leaving anyway…

I worked with a woman once who’s husband was a letter carrier for USPS. She said one day after work he told her he was so sick that he was throwing up in bushes along his (walking) route. She was like, “HELLO? Go home when you are that sick!”
