Sunday HR Shout Out: Flip Chart Fairy Tales

I am sending a strong & vibrant Sunday HR Shout Out™ across the pond to Rick at Flip Chart Fairy Tales. It’s not just because he wrote about me, earlier this week. I swear.

Rick is a very cool man who writes about business bullshit, corporate crap and other stuff from the world of work. As a service to the global HR community, he often translates my posts from American to British for his readers.

Many of you read Flip Chart Fairy Tales and share Rick’s awesome posts through your Google Reader, so I know Rick has plenty of fans. I wanted to recognize [recognise for you Brits] Rick’s blog because it is full of witty & insightful statements about our global economy and our stupid corporate leaders.

If you aren’t reading Flip Chart Fairy Tales on a regular basis, go there now. I promise that you won’t be disappointed.

[I wonder how long it will take Rick to suggest a British alternative to shout out?]

Thanks Laurie. The pose in the picture is a familiar one for me but that’s where the resemblance ends. I’m often to be found in the pub with a pint but I am nowhere near as rich as Prince Charles.

    How about your ears?

    Laurie:

Rick is a pal of mine and I wrote a note on his site in response to his note to you and tried to post a picture of him but didn’t manage to do it. IF you give me your email address (I promise to keep it confidential) I think I can attach the photo and you can do with it what you wish.

    All the best from Ireland,
    Robin
