A friend of mine was murdered when she was the Jackson County Prosecuter. She decided not to pursue the case because "there were easier ones she could win at the time"- that's a quote!!! When my friend's mother went to meet with her to better understand why it would be difficult to pursue a case against a repeat felon (released from jail early a few days prior) who stabbed my friend in the back 7 times she couldn't even remember my friend's name (while sitting in the presence of his own mother). She acted like his case was a waste of her time. After that, it's tough to respect her. Oh, can I be the first to say it....Sarah Palin?! Ha!!! @ Laurie- I forgot about that.
