Here’s my recipe for Bacon Walnut Fudge, which goes pretty well with bacon pizza and bacon vodka. (I look pretty good holding a bacon martini, by the way.)
Ingredients:
- Six pieces of bacon
18 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
One 14 ounce can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
Dash of salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
*
Step One: Cook 6 strips of bacon to crispness.
An easy, splatter-free way to cook bacon evenly is to bake rather than fry it. Line a baking pan with foil and lay down the strips. Bake at 400

Noooo you couldn’t have had this post yesterday when I cooked bacon for the first time in my life!
I have never heard of bacon fudge. It is some kind of ethnic or michigan dish? We don’t eat that kind of stuff here in Ohio.
@Rachel Now you have a reason to cook bacon for the second time in your life.
@Bryan I’m originally from Chicago where we love our meats tubular and salty. This is my own creation, though, for a bacon party. It was a hit!
Mrs. Ruettimann, this is awesome — almost as awesome as your comment to Bryan above. Honestly, I’ve never seen fudge packed quite like this, and that’s saying a lot, I promise you.
Crazier still, my latest question came from a man who calls himself Bacon. I’m not kidding. Bacon Forsythe. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Mr. Smirnoff looks pretty empty
That picture of you going after the bacon may be the sexiest picture I’ve ever seen.
@Miss Priss I love how you have an appreciation for fudge packing.
@Etienne We were sober. That bottle is for affect.
@othurme It’s a complicated composition. In some ways, it’s the most unflattering picture in the world; however, it’s the most flattering picture of bacon on the internet.
You think I’m joking.
Did you notice I changed my gravatar to Mr. Baconhead? That should prove my seriousness.
