I’m about three episodes behind on The Office (and almost every other show I watch). I need to catch up!
GREAT GREAT GREAT clip. What is so odd is that I am wearing the exact same outfit as Meredith. Better go change…
dj
Polo and twills. We don’t get casual Fridays here.
i need more coffee.
A wife beater, my husband’s stripey robe and a pair of Teva river sandals.
SEX-AY!
Actually, I dress up on Fridays, since I go out after work to play.
Mondays are when I dress down.
Pressed jeans, wedge sandals, white v-neck t-shirt, and a 3/4 length sleeved bandana print jacket. I’m casual but What Not to Wear approved!
Jeans, white tee, 3/4 length sleeved jacket, sandals. But that’s just not Friday’s here. We’re business casual everyday! Perks of an ad agency??!!
a black thigh length top with an inner, dark denim jeans, red shoes and a red head scarf (hijab). casual- but appropriate i think.
Jeans, synthetic suede shirt, boots. Every other day of the week, though, it has to be business attire, so if I’m not wearing a tie, I have to wear a suit or jacket. It’s like being on an episode of Mad Men.
CROCS (don’t judge) jeans and a tee shirt i got from the sale rack at the Cracker Barrell that says “MOONPIE AND RC COLA-IT’S A SOUTHERN THING”.
And no, I am not working from home today.
Hey – ya think all your readers are in the US of A ;-0
Jeans, birks, and a tee. But I wish I was wearing HRUnderling’s outfit.
Jeans, black ballet flats and a black and white peasant tie back shirt but I wish I had that RC Cola tee shirt!!!
HR Chick and I are both coveting the HRUnderling!
I think I will make the presentation to management today about starting the CafeDisco. Seems like a great TEAMBUILDER!
Unfortunately, dress-up day for interviews.
I’m off today so I’m wearing Jeans, columbia’s, john deere ball cap, and just to piss the opponent off (we’re driving three hours today so she can get her hair done and shop) a sweet Metallica tee.
I’m wearing jeans and a stained White Sox T-shirt, but I’m not at work, either.
OMG, you guys are classy. Here’s me:
1. Target sports bra
2. Hanes Her Way Gramma Panties: ginormous & cotton
3. Bronson Athletic Club t-shirt (Kzoo)
4. Adidas track pants
5. Flip flops
Honestly, this isn’t far from how I dressed on Fridays at Pfizer.
Jeans, sleeveless turtleneck, khaki-colored casual blazer and ballet flats. Everyday is casual Friday for me.
jeans, sandals and tank top and cardigan. Appropriately boring.
Every day is casual/super casual day in my current job, so I like to have GenderF*ck Fridays instead. My current outfit: jeans, wifebeater, steel-toed workboots and men’s hawaiian shirt which nicely accentuates my chest hair. Next week maybe I’ll use a little mascara on my moustache.
My cotton victorias secret shirt (so what if its meant to be a sleep shirt!), my “twill” pants…oh yeah, more like sweatpants….but everyone calls them twill so i go with it.
And as soon as my feet hit the carpet by my desk—-no shoes. Because these little piggys have been locked up all week!
Black capri pants made out of t-shirt material that I wore when I was very pregnant. That baby will be two in September.
A red 4th of July t-shirt with paint on it
Pink Crocs
But it’s because I am about to go out and plant my impatiens. Otherwise the Crocs would match the t-shirt.
pink fuzzy LL Bean slippers, candy stripe flannel pajama pants, promotional REOMAC tshirt, vacation sweatshirt and wet hair.
oh unemployment…. why are you so glamorous?
I am going to dinner and a play tonight so later I”ll be dressed up.
Salmon orange tank top, black vest over the top, gray scarf, black jeans, shiny heels. It’s hard not to be a bit hipster in Madison…
Same as yesterday
I’m judging all you Croc wearers.
We get to wear jeans on Fridays, except when I have a new hire orientation scheduled. Most of my Fridays are pretty laid back, but I still don’t wear sweats, flip flops or track pants. I wear sandals, cotton blouse, jeans…
I always look forward to Fridays.
It is raiing like crazy where I am Wenchie Poo, you should know that Crocs are the perfect alternative to golashas!
I won’t speak for Jenn/Wench, but I’m of the opinion that crocs are meant for old people with orthopedic issues and nurses. I know, I know, I’m being short-sighted and they’re supposedly very comfortable. I dunno. Not for me.
Actually, I DO wear them for orthopedic reasons. I need to have surgery, but I’ll be on crutches for three weeks for EACH foot, and they both need it. Being a stay-at-home mom to a 1-year-old and 3-year-old in a house with two sets of stairs is not compatible with six weeks on crutches.
But it’s more fun to say “I love Crocs” than “I have the feet of a 90-year-old.” So…I love Crocs.
Jeans, my new HR Ninja white t-shirt (courtesy of Ben Eubanks) and tennis shoes. Nice comfy clothes for Friday.
Eventhough I’m not a hiker I was yesterday almost from top too toe dressen in Wildbeast, hiking gear
It was cool being dressed like that during an HR training
I first bought a pair of crocs when at 35 I decided to have a new career change….waitress…and my dogs were barking like crazy at the end of the day. Someone suggested those ugly little suckers so I gave it a shot. I only waitress on weekends now, but I am too lazy to wear shoes that tie, button or clasp in any way so I just keep shoving my feet in the nasty things. I think my friends and family may be planning an intervention.
@HRU I moved the Crocs discussion to another post. It must be decided!
Here’s the upstart HR shop where you can get the HR Ninja shirt mentioned above:

Well I’m late, but on Friday I wore jeans, a company logo tshirt and sweatshirt, and flip flops. That’s just about everyday though – safety shoes replace the flip flops when I leave the office and they are goooorgeous, especially when paired with sock monkey socks. Working in a brewery rocks for casualness.
Jackbuilt
Same thing I wear everyday…culats, flip-flops, and a half shirt.
Somehow I missed this, but thank you very much for the mention Laurie (and April)!
Casual Fridays for me mean jeans, but it’s nicer than a tie!
