Why are there strict weight limits? Does it relate to the load of the planes? I provided HR support for a corporation's private plane, and the weight rules are strictly enforced for safety. Several commercial and private planes went down over the past few years because they were too heavy. If the skydiving industry has a bias against big people, that's another story. What does a person's weight have to do with falling?! Really? Why are there strict weight limits? Does it relate to the load of the planes?
