Here are sites that you should use today because it’s Monday, you don’t have a job, and you need some fresh resources. These sites have been recommended by readers of Punk Rock HR, they are listed in no particular order, and no one is paying me for these recommendations.
Not yet, anyway.

Thanks for putting together this list. I need to ramp up my search. Indeed is one of my favorites!
Its a UK site, but http://www.careerplayer.com is a nifty concept.
My company’s website, because we’re hiring nationally and are still showing increased revenue through our 2nd qtr earnings statement… http://www.geogroup.com
@Lauren Awesome.
@TheHRD Perfect. Thank you. I’m so Americanized.
@Nichole Great plug!
Feds are hiring. usajobs.gov – tough to follow directions sometimes – they don’t always make sense but benefits are terrific and so can be the pay.
And one more.
Higher education is STILL hiring – http://www.higheredjobs.com and academic360.com will have colleges and universities hiring.
@Deirdre Thank you. Those are awesome sites.
@Nichole: Re: GEO; I am 110% against privately run correctional facilities.
http://www.privateci.org/
@David T: I apologize, I was not trying to start a political debate. I was simply stating that my company is currently hiring, and it is a wonderful company to work for.
The list contains a agglomerate site (other sites jobs all splattered together, indeed), very specialized sites that require higher levels of experience than average and a few others with a majority of low end job titles that wouldn’t be good recruitment fodder. Corporate sites that are well done and promoted, still draw the most responses.
@Nichole – I used to work at GEO.
@Laurie – woould also mention http://Linkup.com and http://workforce50.com
@Michael Vandervort – WOW! I’ve read your blog and have seen you all over the internet and never knew! I’d love to chat…
@Nichole you can email me at michael.vandervort@gmail.com or call me at 813 417 8781
@Laurie : you could add JobiJoba’s job search engine in France:
http://www.jobijoba.com
and in the UK :
http://www.jobijoba.co.uk
[Disclosure : I'm working at JobiJoba, but I used to be a punk rocker
]
All the best
