PS – Thanks for affirming my beliefs that flirting can actually backfire. There is a time & a place for flirting & fun — but it’s not when you’re trying to accomplish goals and work with clients.

Hm. Wow. What bad advice. I am glad the reaction on her blog and this one is universally negative.

Flirting at work to get ahead is cheesy. I work with a couple of women who have tried it, and they go subconsciously to the back of the line when I’m deciding who to help out on a project.

Now, flirting at work because you’re genuinely interested in a relationship with someone is better, but one of you ain’t gonna be working there long. Which might be OK too. As long as you don’t make a jackass out of yourself.

Seriously? Does anyone wear gold powder on their cleavage to work anymore? I mean, other than exotic dancers?
