This was a long time coming and glad that the Chicago Sun-Times are free with “the person that shall be nameless.” I would also blame the Sun-Times of not listening to their own employees. If your prominent writer, Rick Telander, is saying stuff about “the nameless person” for 10 years and don’t do nothing, you should of listen. It cost the Sun-Times some subscribers, but now it’s fixed, and hope everything is back to normal.
And now the “nameless person” has his Around the Horn gig and oddly, he must have pictures of Tony Reali to stay as long as he wants. No wonder people don’t watch that show.
“he’ll cut you” – I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair!
Don’t let the door hit you, where the good lord split you!
Man, Laurie, I’ve been waiting YEARS to use that one.
@tracy I love how you take my pathetic response at writing about sports so seriously.
@Wench Don’t f with ebert.
@GenX LOL, so funny.
Roger Ebert works my nerves sometimes, but I have to say, I love it when he tells people off.
He is high on my list of people who can tell people to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the journey.
I believe with this letter he has moved up on that list, ahead of the fictional character Julia Sugarbaker from “Designing Women”.
I second you on Julia Sugarbaker.
love love love ebert
“he. will. cut. u.”
I keep saying that about everyone. “Scrubbah will cut u. Cols will cut u. Emma will cut u.”
It just sounds so bad ass.
