Laurie August 9, 2008 at 9:25 am: I saw Elizabeth Edwards speak at BlogHer 07 and my reaction, this morning, is different that it was last night. Right now I’m thinking, “Elizabeth Edwards is the toughest woman in the world. If she can take him back without a doubt, who am I to judge?”

Srsly, though, I still hope he jet skis his way to hell.

Laurie August 9, 2008 at 4:30 pm: @mspinkslip I dunno, I’m slowly coming to terms with this because there are so many worse things happening with politics. We’re at war, the economy is in the toilet, and Jane Smiley says it better than I could ever articulate.

He’s a total dick, yes, but there are bigger fish to fry. This is just a stupid distraction, and for once, I’m kind of glad the media didn’t cover it. THEY LEARNED A LESSON FROM THE CLINTON YEARS & THE RUN UP TO THE WAR IN IRAQ: THEY FOCUSED ON GOVT CORRUPTION AND THE ECONOMY & SHIT.

I’d take a piece on Darfur over a piece on Rielle Hunter — any day.
