@Kris Thanks for the response. I'll definitely pay it forward. ;)

@RachL I try to embrace the essence of HR that is all around me. It's in sports, business, celebrity gossip, etc.

@Teresa Oh yeah, I'll be tuning in. ;)

@HR_Minion I'm glad ur blogging, yo!

HR Capitalist was one of the first HR blogs I stumbled upon. Unfortunately I can't stomach all the sports talk enough to read the blog entries anymore.

LR -

Thanks for the shout out. You are too kind. From my perspective, it's always been about talent, and it was clear from when you started that you could write with a voice most people can't get to.

Of course, you know I would love for you to mainsteam the thing a little bit. Not because I can't live with the political and other differences, because I can. No, selfishly I want you to mainsteam it so we could work together sometime, and maybe bring the whole traditional HR thing to it's knees (cue the imperial star wars music). It's hard out there for a named blogger trying to be edgy and keep the daytime gig at the same time...

As it stands now, our only opportunity to work together might be in a Hannity and Combs type scenario... Hmmm, wait a second.... Except that I'm a lot more moderate than Sean Hannity and you won't stand for the comparison to Combs based on looks alone (I wouldn't either).

Anyway, you're right about one key thing - we have a lot in common. Anyone who understands the logical intersection of HR commentary exists where retro 80s references, making fun of Bucky Covington, and Green Day come together is money in my book.

PS - I'll plug you into my blogroll this week, and I need to plug a couple of others in as well. I'm bad about updating, because I really don't get traffic from blogrolls, even from high traffic sites...

So I'm always there when you need to toss some ideas around. Pay it forward as I know you will...
