This one is way overdue. Way. the. hell. overdue.
My friend, Shauna Moerke, writes a great and famous blog called HR Minion. She is the co-host of HR Happy Hour, the world’s first podcast dedicated solely to the HR community. Shauna is a wonderful advisor and a trusted friend to many in the HR community, as well.
I met Shauna in 2008 and I fell in love with her charm, her charisma, and her bold & wonderful laugh. Whenever I talk to her, I learn about life + the world + HR. It’s so awesome to have someone like HR Minion in my life, and if you’re not reading her blog or following her Twitter feed, you are a fool.
Anyone else we need to recognize, today? Let me know!

Awww, Laurie you are so sweet! I absolutely adore you too! Thanks so much for the shout out. (HUG!)
Agree 100%- Shauna is the BOMB. Smart and giving, this woman is going to soar even higher in 2010. Hold on world….
Yep, she’s awesome. In fact, she was one of the very first people I “met” on Twitter, so my involvement in social media is pretty much her fault. Otherwise I’d be sitting here in the dark (but my house would be cleaner…but whatever).
Yay Shauna!
I couldn’t agree more! Shauna is a wonderful friend, a girl couldn’t ask for better. Now if I can just get her to pack her bags and move to Birmingham all would be right with the world.
She also has excellent taste in shoes.
Shauna rocks it! Great shout-out!
Shauba is the best. I adore her energy, her spirit and her awesome-ness.. but can’t call her a minion for too long! Great shout-out and so well deserved.

And I was so excited to second the shout out..I typed wrong – SHAUNA – not Shauba! d’uh.
Shauna is a great person!
I don’t think I will ever forget the first time I met Shauna in person. It was just last month at connectHR. When I walked into Panache, Shauna screamed and bum-rushed through the crowd to welcome me. The first words that I remember her saying, as she handed me her stuffed minion was, “you know what’s coming next.” The great thing was I did. It was instant synergy.
I owe Shauna a cookie when I get to HRevolution.
