Dudes, it’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
Even though I blogged against National Walk at Lunch Day in 2008, I didn’t kill the movement. In fact, I may have made it stronger because it’s right around the corner.
Forget my passive resistance against corporate wellness programs. This is war. I would like to gear up for the event by collecting ideas on how HR can make employees fatter and less productive. More team building events with Krispy Kreme donuts? Fewer fire drills and safety events because evacuating the building burns calories?
You tell me.
We’ll celebrate by ignoring our wellness programs and not walking at lunch on April 29th — and if anyone wants to make a poster for the Punk Rock HR breakroom bulletin board, that would be awesome.

I think this is one time a sit-in would be entirely appropriate.
I’ll bring the cheese fries with bacon, who’s bringing the beer?
Have a picture of Michael Phelps eating an 8,000 calroie diet so everyone can imagine they can get 8 gold medals by eating or the guy who eats 20,000 Big Macs in his lifetime and still looks skinny.
Am I the only person who still eats at lunch?
@RachL you are a rebel for eating a sandwich! for shame!
@Tracy Love. This. Idea.
@Kelly There’s never a shortage of beer in the PRHR break room!
